LFM Spotlight – Exotic Revolution’s Lamborghini Aventador Pirelli Edition
Exotic Revolution’s Lamborghini Aventador Pirelli Edition
Happy New Year everyone, and welcome to our first LFM Spotlight Series of 2017! Here we have the founder of The Exotic Revolution, Mr. Collins, with his gorgeous Lamborghini Aventador Pirelli Edition.
Like many Lambourghini owners, Collins was amazed with Lamborghini cars from a young age. Through hard work and dedication, he was finally able to own one of these beautiful machines. This Aventador is unique because it is the one and only Pirelli Edition with a red interior. Unlike some Lamborghini owners, Collins does not store this Aventador in the garage all day, collecting dust. He drives it frequently, along with his other impressive cars. Collins enjoys providing others the opportunity to experience what it is like to be in an exotic car, through his new business/YouTube channel, “The Exotic Revolution”.
What was your first experience with the Lamborghini that inspired you to buy one?
When I was 6 years old (1988), I had a poster of a White Lamborghini Countach on my wall. I knew the moment I hung it up, that one day, I would buy my own Lamborghini. No matter what or how long it took, I would buy my own one day. As the evolution continued with the Diablo, Murcielago, Reventon, and the Aventador, nothing changed other than the brilliance appeal and pure awesomeness of each machine. Finally in 2015, July 19th if my memory serves me right, I placed an order for a brand new 2016 Aventador Pirelli Edition, with exclusive permission from the president of Lamborghini himself to allow me to have the only Pirelli edition ever made with a red interior, not the typical black with red stitching that all the others have. Dreams ( mixed with a LOT of hard work) come true my friend.
What made you buy the Lamborghini Aventador Pirelli Edition?
It was always a childhood dream of mine to be able to one day buy a Lamborghini. But, I have two M-Series BMW’s: an X6M, because I am a daddy and need an SUV (sort of), and an M4, which are both amazing. I also have a Ferrari 458 and the new Acura NSX. All four of them are white with black wheels, carbon galore, and red interior. The Pirelli (white black and red) just made sense to me and I couldn’t ignore its beauty, even over the common and semi-faster SV. It just spoke to me as though it was the right time to finally buy my own and build it properly.
What are your favorite aspects of the Lamborghini?
I am not one for status or notoriety, and unfortunately, being a 34-year-old Lamborghini owner, I have met my fair share of other owners and I wish I could say I liked more than two of them. Most are pretentious, arrogant, pompous pricks, to be honest, who don’t even drive their car, but would rather let it sit in the garage and collect dust until cleaned, and be admired by friends who, let’s face it, will never get a ride, so there was really no point in coming to “enjoy” it. But I do love the attention the Lamborghini gets by children (maybe I remember being a kid and I would have killed to have one of those pretentious pricks let me sit in theirs, haha).
But other than that, it is a heavy, angry, obnoxious, sometimes faulty (turn it off and then back on again five times) overheating, slam-you- in-your-seat series of PURE BEAUTY AND PERFECTION. If you want class or Bluetooth radio, buy a BMW. If you want hair-raising adrenaline and everyone to look at you knowing that you really made it in life, then buy a Lamborghini. To me, I couldn’t care less what people think about the man behind the wheel. I love cars. I fulfilled a dream and if I can inspire a generation of children to do the same, then it remains a beautiful world and a beautiful car.
How many times per week do you drive your Lamborghini?
I drive it daily sometimes. But, I do have five cars so sometimes it gets out in the rotation. Tonight, it was snowing and it was definitely taken out for a little fun in the winter wonderland. But I would say at least weekly. I buy cars to drive them, not show them and hope to make a lot of money back if I ever sell them. Why spend the kind of money these cars are worth to make them worth nothing, sitting in an empty room? If you own a Lamborghini and you are reading this right now, GO AND DRIVE YOUR CAR FAST AND HARD, the way they were meant to be driven!
We first saw your debut with The Stradman, along with your new YouTube channel, called The Exotic Revolution. Can you explain what your new channel is all about?
Oh boy. Simply put, The Exotic Revolution was put together to be everything and nothing at the same time. I had cars that most wouldn’t dare push to the limits. My solution: race them all against each other and see what happens in a high altitude. The result pissed off, but attracted the world. It seemed everyone loved it and couldn’t get enough of the channel. I have done racing, picked up a homeless man in the Lamborghini and helped him get back on his feet, done some joy rides, a story of my life; even just a simple family Christmas party repeats itself. Now, the latest has been the mega-build of my M4, as we set out to make it the most unique, custom, and also the fastest M4 in the world. It is about two weeks from completion as we speak. The channel is interactive, which is my favorite part, and we are having a blast with it, but also gearing up heavily to launch a few new chapters on the channel for our subscribed members, in the form of offering chances to win a new car and possibly a fun clothing line for all the gear heads and car lovers across the world. We will see how things go, but if anyone cares to check it out the site is: youtube.com/
To anyone who wants to buy a Lamborghini, what would you tell them?
Thank you Mr. Collins for taking the time out of your hectic schedule for this interview. Thank you for inspiring others through your new business venture and selfless acts of kindness! A one-of-a-kind Aventador marks the work that you put into your business!
