3 reasons why the Lamborghini Huracan Evo is not a Performante

The Lamborghini Huracan Evo is NOT a Performante!
The press release of the Lamborghini Huracan Evo is making so much noise within the car community. Not going to lie, our first impressions were not as loud. However, after reading their press release, and learning more about the Evo and its new features, we came up with 3 reasons as to why the Lamborghini Huracan Evo is different from a Huracan Performante!
1) Design
2) New Technology
Yes the ALA in the Huracan Performante is outstanding and it is absent in the Huracan Evo. After reading more about their new technology and naturally-aspirated engine output, we can see why it’s a new Huracan on its own.
Let’s start with the engine. The Lamborghini Huracan Evo will have a naturally aspirated 5.2 Liter V-10 engine, which gives it a 640 hp output, ten more than the Huracan Performante, at 8,000 rpm. 0-62mph in 2.9 seconds and claiming a top speed of over 202 mph.
Lamborghini has also a new sensor system that will take the Huracan into new heights while driving. It is called “Lamborghini Dinamica Veicolo Integrata” (LDVI). This new system is set to control every single part of the Lamborghini Evo’s dynamics using sensors which will accurately track and predict the next move of the driver. This can greatly improve the driver’s experience behind the wheel, making the Huracan Evo more promising. It will also have the newer version of the Lamborghini Piattaforma Inerziale (LPI), which are accelerator and gyroscope sensors that are already in all Huracan models.
3) Connectivity
The optional dual-camera system is a good addition to connectivity that gives top notch recording and analysis of your surroundings. However, the most promising connectivity feature in the Huracan Evo is its new 8.4 inch touchscreen. You can control the basics which includes the seat positions, climate control, and can also view the LDVI system live. Apple Play with Siri or Android Auto can be also installed and controlled at your fingertips as well with an improved voice auto command. So for those who are willing to drive a supercar more frequenly, the Evo seems like it can give you that luxury.
The price of the Lamborghini Huracan Evo starts at $261,274 without taxes and orders are already being submitted. The first customers will get their Huracan Evo later this Spring. We will definitely tune in more with the new Huracan Evo and see if it can deliver as Lamborghini promised. Already excited about the Evo after our research and initial impression of it. Congrats again to Lamborghini!
